Sa’ati! Sa'ati! Sa'ati!
Today is an important day, Malaysia Day. Malaysia was officially formed on 16th September 1963.
We all know Sarawak is a partner on the formation of Malaysia. As local political party, we fought for the rights of Sarawak in the context of Malaysia, and still have to remind ourselves to continue fighting for and to safeguard the interests of Sarawak, to promote and safeguard the peace, prosperity and unity of all the peoples in celebrating Malaysia Day today.
As we all live in the fascinating world of science and information technology, and with the development of the Country, we all must be modernised to meet the challenges ahead, to promote patriotic to the Country and foster loyalty to the Party to safeguard the Sarawak people’s rights and interests in the context of Malaysia. Our Party Constitution has set out one of the objectives is to promote and safeguard the interests of Sarawak in the context of Malaysia, to maintain, foster and promote goodwill, racial harmony and unity of all races and to inspire the spirit of self-reliance and endeavour in establishing a fair, just and equal society for all peoples irrespective of their racial origin or creed. We must work on this.
As SUPP is a component party of Barisan Nasional, we must work together with all the component parties as in one family to appreciate and fulfil the concept of 1Malaysia as our destiny to serve the people. We must transform ourselves to have a down-to-earth attitude to play our roles in BN and to render our service to the people with one common goal of 1Malaysia. We must move forward and meet the challenges of the coming state election to win the Kidurong seat and to work together with the people to meet the challenge the goal of 1Malaysia.
Lastly, I offer my best wishes to all of you. I wish all of you a very happy SUPP family day with a greater success ahead. Happy Malaysia Day in 1Malaysia, Sa’ati!

砂拉越人民联合党民都鲁支部主席林光猛律师的话
今天是马来西亚重要的日子。马来西亚于1963年9月16日正式成立。砂拉越与沙巴是马来西亚的友伴，在9月16国家大节日，具有一个马来西亚的意义。我党人联党身为本地政党，我们应努力捍卫砂拉越人民的权益，互相团结，为国家付出贡献，并共同欢庆马来西亚日。
随着科技发达知资更新，国家的发展，我们都要一起来抓住机遇，并时代化地迎接挑战，以提高爱国精神及爱党的政治水平来维护人民的权益。我党的宗旨也包括了为砂拉越人民争取及保护人民应有的权利，以维持及促进各民族亲善和谐与团结的精神，并灌输砂拉越人民要以一种奋勉的精神来争取建立一个不分种族，宗教信仰的公正合理与平等的社会。
我们的人联党是属于国阵的一份子。我们要与各国阵成员, 如一个家庭, 共同合作面向群众，了解一个大马的理念，以朝向美好的未来为人民服务。我们属于同一个人联，我们要脚踏实地地工作，以一个国阵，有一条心，有共同的梦想，接受一个大马理念。一起奋斗，大家一起努力在Kidurong州选胜出，一起努力实现一个马来西亚的使命。
在这里，我要祝福大家人联一家亲，并努力地迈进成功的道路。祝大家马来西亚日快乐！Sa’ati!

SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI 2010
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri
I wish all Muslims Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Under the Qur'an, Muslims are required to complete their fasting for a month on the last day of Ramadan and then recite God's praises all throughout the period of Eid ul-Fitr.
Hari Raya is usually celebrated in grand scale during first three days.
Many Muslims hold “open house” welcome relatives, friends and guests to celebrate this festival together.
